Terrible, terrible, terrible app. Unfortunately BOI is forcing us to use this backward, concrete block of an app through their refusal to join the rest of us in the 21st century. Does a single decision maker at BOI have a smart phone? Apparently not. Awful UI, the UX of a phone book, slow needlessly laborious security measures. Please BOI, come out from under your rock and copy any other banking app for the sake of your users, their finances and your own business.
The app I hate using more than any other. When it let's me sign in that is. The way they keep track off transactions as well, painful. There's no order to it and transactions that are made over the weekend aren't processed till Tuesday and Wednesday on a bank holiday weekend.
Without a doubt, one of the worst apps I have ever used. It's so slow, and about 10 years out of date. The latest update claims to have "minor bug fixes", which did not change a thing. BOI you NEED to design a brand new app in order to keep up with the times. It's so bad, I am actually considering changing bank because the app doesn't even update my account properly, so it's impossible to tell what's actually in the account and what has left. It should be an embarrassment to you.
Clunky, buggy interface. Pared down and stripped of most useful features. I mean, to add a payee you're prohibited from pasting their IBAN so unless you have it written down separate from your phone, you need to have a memory like Rainman. Awful.
Regularly crashes, often cannot access app due to crashing at login. Not a reliable way to access your banking details. Has become progressively worse over the past 12 months as android continues to develop but BOI app does not.
Transactions are always jumbled and generally a very outdated and bad app. Hardly ever lets me sign in. As a banking app it should be 10x more better than what it is now as it is completely unacceptable in it's current state.
