Loving my Simple experience so far! To the devs: one SIMPLE request, can you guys implement a "reset" button for completed goals!? <3 I like putting the months bills in goals and viewing them chronologically by due date, but once they complete... My only option is to extend the goal. Or maybe make an option for goals to be reoccurring, on a designated basis, much like the bill pay options! Thank you so much! Banking has never been so exciting. :)
This bank and the app is great if all you need is a basic checking account. Biggest complaint is that it's too Simple. Needs a few more features to improve flexibility. Still, app has always worked for me across three phones. Hope they keep improving
Had some problems with a tablet running Kitkat 4.4, an older version of Android. There is no update available to a newer version of Android on this Samsung tablet. The Simple App seems to be fixed now.Thank you for updating the app to support the older version of Android. It would be nice if Samsung provided support as responsive and helpful as Simple.
They were very good for a time being. For no reason I had verify account 3 times for no reason. When you call customer support after business hours they have an emergency option and they don't call you back. I had an emergency issue and they messaged me to call back during business hours. When I call back during business hours they tell me to send a message through the app.
Had money deposited to pay my rent and Simple still hasn't allowed me to get my funds. Didn't use the card for a while so they made it inactive. However, when I call to get help getting back into my account no one told me. So I'm getting evicted because my account was active enough to take my money but inactive enough to let me touch get it to pay my bills... Its been 3 days and reactivation apparently takes an unknowable # of business days to complete. If I had know I would have deposited my money somewhere else. So besides getting evicted from my apts, the service was actually awesome. Even during this process the customer service was very understanding, relatable, and well spoken. Particularly Ed, but everyone was great. Doesn't change the fact that I'm at this very moment looking at my money in my account and I'm still getting evicted... Thanks Simple. Made that real easy and...yeah... Simple.
I've been a Simple customer for a couple of years, and have been very pleased overall with their software and customer service (except for a few recent software-network glitches which have been corrected). Simple is great if you want a fee-free debit card with all the security and attention of a bank. HOWEVER, if you want full bank services, like check writing and loans, then look elsewhere.

Now when you use Goals for payments (e.g., “Mail a check” or “Pay a bill”), you can create an associated goal for this payment automatically.
Fixed: Android O users will no longer get multiple notification sounds for each notification.
