This App was working fine for years. Its now failing to login since the last update that was pushed out in first week of June 2017. Called support and they says the problem is with Android version and they don't want to talk to the development team. This is really frustrating. A company like Barclays doesn't test the app properly before rolling it out to customers. Fix it please......
Use it for everything is excellent app. Never had a problem on Galaxy samsung s5 mini. Would like to be able to see available balance vs last nights balance just to itentify discrepancies that have or haven't yet left acc. UPDATE:Since updating this app recently, i amnow unable to use it at all despite 3 years with no problems. No I wont uninstall it and reinstall and risk losing all my contacts and going through security checks again. BARCLAYS sort it out please? I'm unable to use the app it says theres a problem.
It has been finally upgraded for Huawei P9 light. It was so inconvenient to simply not be able to use the app right after the 2017 android upgrade. Probably not Barclays Dev team fault, but Huawei' s team. The largest banking institution in the UK should definitely hire me and be sure this won't happen again. lol I work for Telrock Systems now, so technically Barclays is our client. We work with Fraud Alerts for TSYS, so imagine if you suddenly stopped receiving confirmation requests for your transactions. I felt worse not being able to use this app. But now it is finally working fine, so no worries. Cheerios!
Very happy with it all except for one little thing. It would be really helpful to have a running balance on the account activity page. Previously I've used this facility to spot weeks where I've overspent without noticing and used this in future planning and allocation of shopping versus savings 😊 A simple number in small font on the individual entries, green for in credit, blue for overdraft, red for incurring charges, maybe? So what do you think tech team? Can you do that? Squeeze in one more little number? Help me maintain my financial fun/future balance.
Terrible. Went to a Barclays branch where a financial adviser activated the app using the activation code (because they still haven't sent me a bank card and pin!!, this was reordered in branch) The app was restarted only having to reactivate again. After the whole activation process was completed for a second time, the app was restarted and worked fine. I got home, loaded the app and the activation was needed again. I can't use the app at all now unless I go back to a branch to get an activation code.
As with nearly all apps these days they work just fine until improved then glitches pop up, latest update has left the regular transactions button not working, I clearly must have some but it says no! Recent fixes have sorted the problem, now it seems to be one of the few apps that actually works well. Was working lovely until the update of June 14th 2017, now it's slow to open and often freezes for a few seconds too, it's a shame because before the update it was an excellent app....
