I was really hoping this would make my life easier, but instead it has made life harder, so I may be uninstalling soon. Never will come up in the body text of Gmail app, icon only appears in address or subject fields, rendering it completely useless to me. Not only that, but in those fields it completely blocks things and gets in the way so that I accidentally insert autotext in the wrong field! Wish it worked, so disappointing.
I use the desktop app & would love to use it on my phone but it just doesn't work consistently. In my email client (typemail) it works, but in my text program (chomp) it never works. The phrase complete comes up, I click on it & nothing happens. I also have Texpand pro, and it works correctly in all my apps. UPDATE: thanks, I did try to find a way to contact tech support before writing my review, but I could not find a way to do this. It appears you can only do this as a paying customer--which I'm not yet. I would much prefer to switch from Texpand pro to your app since I all ready use the windows version, but Texpand works flawlessly in every app I've tried it in, and yours, unfortunately, does not. UPDATE 2: great tech support, so I'm sure they'll find a solution to my "Chomp" problem.
Since upgrading to Android 7, I can no longer use this with Intercom, a popular customer service application. When I click the phrase nothing happens. No issues with other applications. Any ideas how I can get this to work? RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER RESPONSE -------------------- Yes, I have contacted you 11 times, because I've run into 11 different bugs with your software. Trust me, I take no pleasure in contacting you and wasting my time. Your support is atrocious. You are rude and dismissive - even for paying customers (I've paid over $100 in licenses). When I've contacted support with legitimate issues such as the one above, I've been told to "read the manual" and that "there are no known issues", and to "check with someone who knows about computers". Your desktop application is great, but your Android app is extremely buggy. Surely you can admit that it's not perfect. And believe it or not, I happen to run a software company myself. I try not to take it personally when people submit criticism. In fact, I'm grateful when they take the time to reach out and give me an opportunity to document the issue and assist and find a resolution.
Wasn't sure how to utilize it. Hijacked my phone somewhat
Excellent app - highly recommended! I'm delighted with this app (I paid for the Standard version in app purchase). It's come a very long way since it was first released and works great with the PhraseExpress keyboard in particular. It syncs fine with the free Windows version for me. The only problem I am having is I have to force stop it every time I reboot the tablet to recover my license. Hopefully just a temporary glitch which I can live with given it works so well apart from that. Ignore the designed for phones bit in the description. It works great on tablets.
It seems to work great ... Most of the time. The one thing I cannot get to work is to use it in the body of an email in the Gmail app. And I cannot seem to find anything in the help files addressing this. That's a big deal for me and is the thing that will determine whether I pay for it or not
