Review from Isaiah Williams
Love it.. But! Just wanna know are you going to add more filters in the future ? And I like how it's not a forced crop pic . Good job
It's a great app. It's creates opportunities to show our photography skills and also learn from other photographers. My only concern is that my country isn't supported for purchases. So I'm unable to put anything on sale. Anyhow I'm not that great of a photographer so I guess it's alright for now. Really enjoying the app.
I love EyeEm but I have been having some problems with the app. It often displays a bad request network 400 error message. Sometimes I go through and like many pictures but the likes will disappear. It's very annoying.
The new EyeEm Selects feature is wonderful. Really impressed with that as you can make various changes to the photo in one go and see if it gets selected or not, and looking forward to the Google Photos cloud implementation. However the review process is still a bit of a joke, my photos have been reviewed in a completely haphazardous way, with many photos simply getting "missed". I really wish they get their act together with this, some photos haven't been reviewed in over three months. Eleven of my photos are on Getty, but one photo is missing tags. Not sure whether that's the fault of Getty or EyeEm. As said by other reviewers, the community is first class; helpful and friendly. The customer support on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired... cold as ice pretty much sums it up. If they could just sort out their review process so that every photo that gets submitted gets reviewed then this would easily be a five star app. As it stands four stars from me.
This app is ridiculous. First of all Im not going to make my models go to your stupid website to fill out a form they already filled out with me. Secondly 50% is a ridiculous amount to offer someone for their work and only the most desperate would sell their hard work for so little. On top of that most images don't even make it to the market because the qualifications are too strict. And if that all wasn't bad enough you can't even promote your own website because links get automatically removed from any text box in the app. Screw you guys. You don't deserve to sell my work. If you're a working photographer DO NOT bother with this trash. Sell your work yourself and get 100% of what you deserve.
The main attractive of this app is being able to sell your photos, but when it takes 2 month+ the review your work and, then, allow you to sell it, it's just unacceptable. You need to either hire more reviewers or change you business model.
I mostly take photos on travellings and not with my phone. But I am not able to add proper location tag when I upload from home. Only lets tag the current locationof the uploader. Needs to be fixed. And this new update that chooses beat photos ti upload is not working at all.
Upload just got smarter! Here’s what to expect from this update:
With the new EyeEm Selects feature, your app suggests the best photos to upload from your camera roll – all powered by our computer vision technology.
