About this app

Jukey is a music player with a Jukebox interface. Browse your albums with the jukebox style buttons, or swipe actions. Select a song by tapping on the title or by entering the album index and song index with the on screen numbered buttons.

★ Interactions ★
• Tap a song to add it to the playback queue
• Long press on the album title or artist to add the entire album to the playback queue
• Scroll albums using the “<” and “>” albums
• Scroll to an album entering its index with the buttons, additionally punch in the song index to add it to the queue
• Tap the now playing album information to scroll the now playing album
• Tap a playback queue entry to scroll to the album
• Long press a playback queue entry to remove the selection
• Long press the now playing album art to hide or show the playback controls (party mode)
• Tap the continuous play button to enable continuous play mode (plays a random song whenever the queue is empty)
• Load a different playlist by tapping the playlist / search button

This could be a great app, but it's missing a key functionality. I have a large database of albums (over 500 albums) and swiping/scrolling is too slow. Therefore I want to jump to a first letter of an artist or a specific artist artist name and then scroll from there, but I can't. For instance, I type the band name "Metallica". I takes me to their albums, but i can't keep swiping to proceed further down the list of artists. If I close the search, it take me back to the where I was before. So my only choice to browse artists further down the alphabet is to slowly swipe over and over for several minutes. It pretty much makes the app unusable for me when i just want to randomly browse and pick songs.

As the reviewer stated below the search function is of limited use, there is no customisation of how your music is indexed, for compilation albums the first track artist is displayed as the whole album artist. Really needs more options to customise to how you want it.

Just downloaded and paid for the Pro Version (because it's required for Network use) to put on a Tablet however Jukey won't see my NAS to use my MP3's from this location! Therefore, I cannot even test this program. Went to Jukey's Home Page, no support there, no documentation, no nothing! Total Rip-Off!
