Dissatisfied Samsung Galaxy Nexus The Playlist section could use help. It has a tendency to put two of the same song on there. The touch is a little buggy and sometimes non responsive. Sometimes also I hear crackle and some pops which originally I thought was a low quality mp3, but when playing the same song in a another media player I did not hear the crackling & poping. I'm just disappointed because I'm into music production and I respect the company that makes this app and really expected it to be over the top. Needs update ASAP
Unorganized. Clipping. Good sound output but heavy clipping occurs if the knobs are set too high. You need to add increase the output bit depth and add anti-clipping feature, thirsty boy... that would be better. Other than that, the UI freaks me out! It's confusing! It don't even have a search function!? This player doesn't meet the "Media Player Standards"...
Finally good audio Bbe delays lows to pull out highs. Don't use with other equalizer. You speakers' impedance delays the highs, making them get lost in the sound. This program shapes the sound. Makes lows, mids, and highs much clearer-sounding live. Works well on mp3's. I doubt on ogg or wma: wish it worked on streams/Spotify: needs a widget. Also, it doesn't reduce the volume, unlike your fxplayer (though latest update only limits a small amount with loudness cranked.) I offer 5 stars because the sound is so good.
First off, no question about what the BBE process does to the sound - classic BBE increasing the clarity, tightening the bass, all the while maintaining a clean sound even with the single "Earbuds" preset. No complaints there, BBE sound processing is second to none. That said, creating playlists could be a lot easier, the "Store" button should actually work for the people who want to pay the $2.99 to upgrade to Pro, and the double-entries would be eliminated. I really want to give it a 5-star rating but the apps shortcomings cannot be overlooked. Still, would recommend this app to ANYONE who enjoys listening to music.
Missing Mp3 Enhance? I installed this (basic) on my LG Op 7 hoping to get better (decent) Mp3 playback. Actually I was hoping to get Mp3 enhance like on my Cowon player. Well, this app doesn't have Mp3 enhance and doesn't make the LG sound any better than any other Mp3 app. I suspect that the LG just sucks sonically. The Cowon with full feature set of BBE sounds very good.
No MP Enhance When the pro features are activated, the sound volume and bass level both increase, but this does not necessarily mean it sounds any better. What I really wanted to see in this app is MP Enhance, like you get on the Cowon music players, but this killer feature is missing. Maybe I am expecting too much from a piece of software but that feature would have made more difference to me than all the other features put together.
- Fixed some app crashing bugs
- Fixed the toggling of the play/pause button
- Improved performance
