Beautiful update 😍 i love it. Next update must be for the channels. It would be nice for the owner of the channel to see the subscribers and also know who likes their posts. I just started a channel for my business, my customers complained that it is somehow complicated to enter to the channel category. And many of my bbm contacts didnt actually know that there were channels in BBM until i made one. But all good BBM, keep up the great work. Im your customer from your very beginning til the very end 😍 Good luck 😀
Always loved this app. I have tried to stay loyal for almost 10 years now on BBM. Other platforms have copied and become highly competitive and even though my BBM friends list is about 20% of what it used to be I've stayed. However BlackBerry you're making it difficult to be loyal. The D and R are why I use this app, and others have it now too but I like BBM. At first I thought these were removed but they are just really tiny. At 55 I need bigger icons, not smaller, or at least the ability to modify their size. Typed from my PRIV...
I have been a BBM for a long time on my previous 4 phones, all BlackBerrys. I have tried all the other IM programs on my iPod Touch and Android Tablet and NOTHING comes close to BBM. Update 8/18/17: I have lowered my rating because of the changes to the message status. Please back the colour coded "Delivered" and "Read" since the new ones don't suit visually impaired users. I don't like the ripoff of WhatsApp's message status.
Continues to be bad and the latest update is horrible. In the newest update you can't tell if you have a new unread message, the new item is no longer bolded but a tiny dot on the right, so on a quick glance you'll miss messages. The interface is hard to read. Still alot of spam. You cannot remove a group message thread from your chat list, the only option is to leave the group entirely.
The latest update is awful! The static wallpaper is juvenile and the R and D virtually un readable. In group chats the text boxes are all the same colour and hard to distinguish one person from the other. We need customization. This is not an upgrade but a definite set in the wrong direction.
After switching from BBM on BB10 to BBM on Android, I'm massively disappointed. I get 5+ invites from random Indonesian people per week and have to view ads. You want to have ads for non-BlackBerry users, fine, but for Priv/DTEK owners, there shouldn't be ads!
Introducing a new look that makes BBM simpler to use and navigate:
- Chat redesigned with new chat bubbles and a static background
- Stickers now listed by categories, new, and free so you can find packs quicker
- When creating groups, rich features for event and topics are enabled by default
