I love the concept and the features (Group Analysis rocks!) but I find the app itself unstable on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (9.7"). The app will sometimes crash after capturing a lot of shots, or if I go into Group analysis a lot. If I can help with debugging the crashes, feel free to contact me. Also, not that I have had this problem with only a few shots. It seems to be that if you're using the app for long periods of time on Android, you have to force-kill the app, and then restart (probably to deal with the memory issues described in the reply by the developer). Another serious deficiency is that there is no way to move your data to a new device, say when you upgrade your phone/tablet.
Overall the app works fine. One problem that could easily be fixed is having the option of black or white show last shot. If you are using a black target it is very difficult to see blinking shot when it is black on black . please fix this and add to the app.
App frequently crashes on Galaxy Tab2.
Great App with the camera system, have it both on my Google Pixel XL phone and Samsung S2 9.7" tablet and the tablet is much easier to use and see. Makes shooting as a team so much easier as you can see the target, compare shots, and help assist in learning how to shoot at distance without having to squint through an expensive spotting scope. The target is clear, and you can have multiple targets that you can re-calibrate without having to move the camera, which saves time when shooting distance. The shot grouping measurement and scope adjustment features are great. Awesome support from the manufacturer!!!
I think the system is good but the software needs work. It's not very intuitive and it appears to take an image of everything in view of the canera and then flips back and forth between captured items to show the bullet hole "blinking". If you have wind that moves the target even a little, the image shifts. If you use the feature to cover previous shots with colored "dots", the shot holes will no longer be covered since they were based on a previous image. You will want to use some backing material like cardboard to mount your target instead of stapling a paper target directly to the range frame. It needs to be secured so it doesn't move AT ALL during the session. You also can't delete a frame. You can't manipulate the images once a new session is started - at least I couldn't find a way. Overall it's a good system, and the battery for the long range system lasted all day so I would recommend it. I would like to see better documentation for the software and some additional enhancements to address the above.
Just what I was looking for Downloaded the new updates great improvements everything I needed right there at my fingertips works great on my Android phone and tablet thanks for updating the app
