About this app
Doctors app is not just an app. It is one of three part of cloud based complete electronic medical record system. Our other two parts are BDEMR Patient (which is used by patient to see his medical record), BDEMR Clinic (which is used by hospital/pathology to upload all kind of test results either in result format or as an attachment). In BDEMR Doctors app doctor can view patient’s old medical records, which includes but not limited to previous doctors visits and reports, current and old medicine, and all previous test results. S/he will be able to write a new prescription, advice test to any particular clinic/hospital that is registered with our system.
Prescribing is made easy by adding brand name available in Bangladesh. It automatically fills up generic name, manufacturer’s name, strength, route etc. A favorite medicine option lets the user save some of his common medicine and fill it with just a click. Similar options are available for test advice. A favorite test can be added with just a click. There is custom addition feature built in, so that if a new medicine or test becomes available, or any name missing on the system can be manually added to this system.
Doctor’s Note and Patients Note feature is communication between doctor and the
patient. So patients can write their complaints on this note even before leaving their
home. Doctor can view it during or before a patient contact. When the patient is not at
doctor’s office or hospital, both can communicate through this pathway avoiding
unnecessary phone calls.
Added to this system is the Appointment booking feature. Through this system a doctor can add his hospital and visiting time and patients can book online on those times. Through this system we have online consultation by doctors where a patient can prepare his/her whole history before visiting a specialist or even consult the doctor online. When a patient is not satisfied by management or treatment, or would like to take a Second Opinion, that can be accomplished through this software.
Often patient has to travel long distance to meet a doctor for advice, that can be done
online through this software. An online payment system is incorporated so that doctor’s fees can be paid through this system.
All the data are saved in the Google cloud server. The server is HIPPA/HIPA compliant.
A doctor can view and treat a patient remotely through this software system. If you have a phone, medical record is just at your phone tip!
