It worked once When I first installed it it linked up great. It hasn't worked since no matter how mamy times I delete and readd on the phone and computer. It's very annoying.
Broken app I did all the updates but will not connect.
It's...adequate. But frankly, the generic ftp from Solid Explorer works better, though another Android ftp server app has odd disconnection problems. This app offers a level of security an anonymous ftp connection does not - but it's my home Wi-Fi; this really isn't a problem. One cannot assign a drive letter by accessing the settings cog on the computer side, so it's always an "automatic" drive letter, which for me is simply unacceptable. And why even bother, with an app like this, with read-only media access? (You will want to enable "Show Device Folder" and get full access to everything that doesn't require root.) Keep poking around and I suspect it will connect for you - it took me a minute to find the right combination of things. (I forget what order of things worked.) Certainly not worth it unless you're using the main app for its main features and just...messing with your phone. I personally am very happy with an Android ftp server and FileZilla on my computer for most things - or Solid Explorer, which works very well with network shares all on its own. Drive letter access via NetDrive 2 is handy sometimes, however, so I do actually use the main app - but not paired with this one.
