I just wish "Non-pausing Dialog" was enabled in multiplayer It gets pretty tedious playing with friends when everyone in the party has to stop and listen to an NPC jabber away, no matter where everybody else is in the map.
Won't install I've tried twice it downloads for a few hours then just stops without any explanation. Really wanted to play this game. This game just took my money the developers never responded. I feel ripped off!
The game is as brilliant as it has always been and the Android port seems to work fine. Original disks are not required, it just runs. There are two problems: 1. The controls are not very effective on a phone. Even a Samsung Galaxy S4 has a too small screen to work pleasantly. 2. The game doesn't seem to have an option to move the game data to an SD card. As this is over 2 GB of data it is quite a lot to have in the device itself.
Tablet issues Love the game, but it does not work with the onscreen keyboard of my galaxy galaxy s tab. Makes it impossible to pregen characters (cant save the file) nor can i write in the journal or do a custom background. Otherwise great game, would love to see these issue resolved.
Great game, small bug on nexus 6 On nexus 6 version 6.0.1, the game will constantly mis-read touchscreen input by 1 thumb's distance. I flashed back to 6.0.0 and the bug has reverted to its initial behavior on the nexus 6; it will start fine, but once switched away from BG2EE the touchscreen is inaccurate as described. On 6.0.0 though, restarting the app fixes the issue and it is playable
No nostalgia I've never played this game before, in fact I'm the same age as the game so there is no nostalgia involved in this review. If you can get over the dated graphics and the fairly complex DnD rules then you'll find a game so full of interesting characters, immersive stories and some of the best writing I've ever seen in a game. Furthermore there is no hand holding in this game, you go where you want when you want and play out your own adventure. This has inspired me to play older rpg's like BG2 and KoTo
