About this game

This is my first ever game. It’s tiny but it is mine. I am extremely proud of it. I learned a lot making it. Hope you will enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

STORY:

In the year 2000 in Kyoto, Japan a chimpanzee named Ai was born. At the age of 4 Ai was introduced to Numerical sequence task by Professor Tetsuro Matsuzawa from Kyoto University. In Numerical sequence task the nine numerals appeared in different on-screen positions.

To complete this task Ai needed to touch numbers in correct order from 1 to 9.

At age of 5 Ai mastered the numerical sequence task and was introduced to new Masking task. In this task, after touching the first numeral, all other numerals were replaced by white squares. Ai had to remember which numeral appeared in which location, and then touch them based on the knowledge of numerical sequence.

Ai mastered this game with almost 90% accuracy and with fastest times under 3 seconds.
The chance of doing that correctly without memorizing the location of numerals is 1 in 362,880.

Question arises: Is chimps mind inferior to that of humans?
Can you beat the chimp in Numerical sequence masking task?

Give it a try and complete with Ai, your friends and family.

I would like to specially thank to Professor Tetsuro Matsuzawa from Kyoto University http://langint.pri.kyoto-u.ac.jp/ai/ for allowing me to use his visual material and making this project happen.
Please donate some money if you liked the game for the conservation and welfare of the chimpanzees. They are endangered species. Please donate here: http://www.japanmonkeycentre.org/

Great app. Would be nice if the amount of numbers to recall increased as well in a different mode:)
