For the 3rd time now I'm sitting in traffic and this app has been on my screen. I have been waiting for it to make a sound but it looks so useless because it doesn't do anything. I've also used the calling feature that is handy but that did not yield any quick results. For me to have to turn off my radio turn on Bluetooth and wait for this application to say something while I'm sitting in traffic is annoying. I was excited when I first got this app but was disappointed after using it 3 times.
Conceptually, it is a great idea. In practice though, the app falls short. That doesn't mean it can't be improved however and I hope with the right feedback, the developers will be able to do just that. I have a couple of issues with it. 1) when a notification is received on my phone, only a portion of it shows. When I click on it, I feel I should be taken directly to the message to read the rest of it; however what happens is that I'm taken to my location on the map. From there I have to search the map for the incident icon to be able to read the rest of the message. It makes for a frustrating user experience. 2) When trying to search for incident icons that are outside of my phone screen, I am automatically taken back to my location. The app wants to always recenter me there even when I want to be somewhere else on the map. 3) Setting routes is ridiculously challenging.
Since the redesign, the app continuously crashes. When it does work, the info is very old (hours). Unsubscribing.
It crashes continuously. I uninstalled it. Plus it will give an update on traffic but when you click on the notification, it doesn't allow you to view on the map.
Really handy function. You can stay updated on incidents along your drive or commute.
This app is really helpful with my daily commute. The reports help a lot with figuring out what's happening on the roads in real time so I can change my route if needed!
