Works with AT&T HTC One X and Plantronics BT I always wear my bluetooth earpiece because I like to have both hands free and I spend a lot of time on the phone for work. Needing to be tethered to my phone with a physical cable is highly annoying and is pretty much why there are bluetooth earpieces in the first place. I took the chance of losing a dollar and bought this premium version for my AT&T HTC One X and Plantronics PLT 510 earpiece. Sound quality is nowhere near a stereo headphone, but that is to be expected and does not detract from this terrific application. I'm now able to be "unattached" to my phone.
Great BUT auto restart feature not working for me I installed this app on a Motoroloa XT901 phone running Android 4.1.2. I was pleased with the free version, so I purchased the premium version for the auto restart after phone call feature. It does not work, even though that option is indeed turned on in my preferences. I have to turn BTmono off and then on again manually after a call has ended to regain my media audio on my car stereo, which is s stock unit in a 2012 Chevy Equinox. If anybody could get this feature working that sure would be great!
Star N9770 Note (Samsung Galaxy Note II Clone) This worked after a battery pull. Finally I got my Navigation to speak through my Car device. Great little app. Good work. Be nice if I could automatically set it to turn on when the Bluetooth is connected to a device. Can't wait to try it on Voicemail. 10-3-12 Don't forget to plug in the charger when using Navigation in the car. My car device pushes to the FM transmitter and through the radio. Way Cool
Awesome App Awesome app. I've been looking for something like this for forever. Love the ability to change the colors of the status icon as well as the auto restart after a phone call. I will use this app a lot. Works great on my Samsung Galaxy S2 with 2.3.4 and my bluetooth devices. 6-30-12 Update: Upgraded to official ICS release. BTmono stopped working with my bluetooth devices. BUT after uninstalling and then re-downloading and re-installing it works again like a charm. Currently running 4.0.3 on my Samsung Galaxy S2 I777.
Auto restart after phone call DOES not work. I was really pleased with the free version, so I figured I would buy the premium for this feature as I use my phone to listen to podcasts while driving. Would come in handy when receiving a call for it to kick back to what I was listening to. The podcast resumes but I have to manually restart BTmono. Thought maybe this would get fixed but been a LONG time and nothing. Just stick with the free version as the main reason to get the paid version is for a feature that does not work.
Almost There.... Using this on my HTC Raider with Motorola H730 headset. Get great battery life with the H730 (no A2dp though) and can now listen to music, podcasts, etc all day. Awesome! But...one problem. When phone call comes in, no auto shut off/pause in audio player...can still hear audio with call at the same time. Have to shut off manually...so no auto back on either at end of call...then sometimes a sped up chipmunk effect. This on the paid for premium. If fixed...definitely... 5 stars! Still...great work tho.
