I just downloaded Beeper mini. $1.99 per month is fine, but the "start free trial" is the only option showing. As such, I clicked "start free trial", but it just shows this: "Error retrieving information from server. DF-DFERH-01. Please make sure your device is connected to the internet". If you're reading this post, my internet is obviously working. I uninstalled and re-installed the app, but nothing changed. Beeper Mini is not off to a good start! I will change to 5 stars if issues are fixed!

I really like it so far. I'm already using BlueBubbles and Beeper Cloud, but as these apps rely on a server to relay data between the app and Apple, there's increased risk for instability. Beeper mini, on the other hand, connects directly to Apple Servers. That said, Beeper Mini is fairly barebones in terms of settings - but it does what it says it does. I had no issues connecting my number and logging into my Apple ID. Wish my old messages were synced over. I'm excited to see where this goes.

This app is actually insane. Setting up iMessage on Android was so easy I didn't even have to log in or anything and everything just worked. Definitely a huge upgrade for iMessage from the old beeper app. Also looks way better. The feedback I have right now is to allow different possible swipe actions on the home screen (for example, delete/archive) and to allow to archive messages. The only way to get rid of old messages is to delete them. I have a lot more feedback but the review is limited.
