This app is near perfect. And I use it on every brew day. A few things I would love to see... 1. Water profile manipulation like on the desktop version. Us millennials do not have PCs ☺ 2. Be able to choose what IBU calculation to use for each hop addition independently. 3. Be able to export recipes to a text file to share on forums. 4. Mash efficiency calculation. May be there, but it's not obvious. I like to see the trend of how my brew day is progressing through measurements. Thank you again Brad for a great product!
Never saves my equipment profile, constantly having to readjust units to metric, every time I create a recipe and save it then tells me it cannot load and suggests removing it. I have used the desktop version for years but this app is absolute rubbish. Many other brewing apps available which are free and have no issues like this for the money I expected more I will be getting a refund.
Used to work great but now having issues. All of my recipes are gone, even ones stored on the cloud. Also I tried creating a new recipe and the categories had trouble loading. Once I finally finished a recipe and saved it, I went to go back into it and it said "could not load recipe-remove listing?" PLEASE FIX ISSUES!
I'm really unimpressed and want my money back. Claims to offer the ability to scale recipe sizes but doesn't have a 7.5 gallon all grain equipment profile. So fine, I go to create my own and extrapolate between the 5 and ten gallon ones. But there's NO WAY to actually CHANGE the batch size of a profile to match the equipment! DURR that's kind of the whole point of scaling a batch - to change its size. Why on earth would I brew only 5 gallon batch sizes in a 7.5 gallon system?
This app has cost me hours to make a beer that I will never repeat. Water use is way off and I'm told the developer is aware, but still that way. Way better than I'm ever going to do, an extreme amount of detail, but not accurate and where it's off sucks ass.
I'm not sure why I payed for this. I already own a disk copy of beersmith and thought it would be nice to have the tools/information on my phone or tablet. This version doesn't even have something as simple as the water needed tool! What a waste.
