Bring back the older version!!! Got a new Samsung 6 phone and tried to set up my 2 cat cams, with no success. Had no problems with the other version and my Samsung 5. NOW WHAT???
Don't download new version 2.0.3! New version much slower than older version, starts with unnecessary splash screen, requires you to push 'play' to start streaming video (otherwise just shows a static image from the camera which might confuse you to think that nothing is happening at the location), takes MUCH longer to start streaming video, and requires some extra clicks for navigating. On the plus side, it makes it much easier to leave feedback. So I did!
Will not connect with phone or tablet For some reason the app will not connect to my 3 net cams on my phone and tablet, keeps saying offline. Restarted cameras and still nothing. Android 5.0 on phone and 6.1 on tablet. App hasn't worked correctly in over a year
UPDATE Terrible!!! The app for the cameras was completely fine. Now the new version will not pull the cameras half of the time. They will log you out half the time. They completely lag or take forever to load. This needs serious help. I would recommend a differant brand before going through this
Crashes always and mic sucks The app will crash upon opening. Have verified that I have full 4 g service with Verizon (galaxy s5) and this issues happens 9 of 10 times. Then when it is open and in live video mode the microphone is junk. I have to hold it release hold tap hold like a cheat code untill finally it works and I can talk. I am an IT tech and know how to work the app properly I hope the development team will work and fix the issues.
Well... Latest update looks good, but is confusing to a normal smartphone user. Very complicated UI. The connection to the camera also takes twice as long than it did before. Which is very disappointing. Also if i want to record video without the cloud i have a three minute limit? I bought your product and have plenty of space, why would you not allot me to record as much as i want? Ohhh because you want me to spend more money on cloud services. Thats not a great experience. I love the idea but execution is poor.
This one’s a quickie. We updated the Netcam app to include a pop-up that makes it easier to rate the app in Google Play.
