Best Independent Monitoring Camera App I've been using this app for 4 years as extra security for my house. It's not monitored my any company and I can turn the off and on with the ease of the app. My wife us it when my child is home alone (of age) to see what she's doing in the living room and kitchen.
Very Rude technology Don't waste your money. There a better products for about the same price. The motion detection constantly gives false reading and by constant I mean every 5 minutes making it worthless and the video is a pay feature and its very expesive. The talk back function suffers much lag and is a joke too...
Steve I installed first camera about 4 yrs ago and had some problems with connecting but in recent yrs everything has been working great up to four cameras now. I agree the new app wasn't as much as I thought it would be but it's been pretty reliable. I also agree with having immediate live feeds would make life easier and split screens would be a home run. Hey for the price I'm a happy camper.
App fairly buggy, camera is okay I get a message saying "unfortunately Netcam needs to close" about half the time I launch the app and then it crashes. I've also gotten several other errors, such as claiming another device was logged in and claiming no camera could be detected. The camera itself is alright, but the constant crashes in the app really limits the utility.
I gave it a shot. Not happy Its a security camera. We want it to do 1 thing. Show us what the camera sees. I dont give a dam about customisation. If im in bed and hear a noise. Faster then a burglar could get in my door I want to see the footage. It takes FOREVER. Id be dead if someone was breaking in. And what's w the white around the image. Its blinding
Crashes always and mic sucks The app will crash upon opening. Have verified that I have full 4 g service with Verizon (galaxy s5) and this issues happens 9 of 10 times. Then when it is open and in live video mode the microphone is junk. I have to hold it release hold tap hold like a cheat code untill finally it works and I can talk. I am an IT tech and know how to work the app properly I hope the development team will work and fix the issues.
This one’s a quickie. We updated the Netcam app to include a pop-up that makes it easier to rate the app in Google Play.
