Self serve app not working I have been using the app for a couple years to check my bell account and pay bills. It worked fine but the recently update totally screwed up. It required me to verify my number. Then it sent me a link thru sms that doesnt work! Now i have to go to the desktop site to manage it. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Update Explained I now understand how this new update works. When you are using your data plan with this app it works like how it always did, without the redirection to the mobile site. But when you are connected to a wifi it will ask you to complete the connection using your mobile web browser. It acts exactly like a shortcut when connected to a wifi versus using your own data. I am no longer disappointed in Bell and this update. Previously I gave it a 1 star. Now, back to 5 Stars!!!
Horrendous I would give zero stars of that were even possible. Zero effort put into this "app" it's not even an app. Doesn't work constantly says request times out upon opening. I would immediately uninstall if it weren't programmed on my phone. Thanks bell for looking after your customers....not
Awful update I used to have no problem with this app. Now it opens the web browser to send me a link via SMS that will open the self-serve in the web browser. What's the point? Once my contract is done, I'm dumping this provider. Can't stand their customer service.
Disabled the old app, New one won't work over WiFi The old 2.6 version was fine, but this month they've disabled access from it by saying the site didn't support data compression. The new one sends a link for Wi-Fi access that is already timed out even if you use it 20 seconds after getting it. It'd be easier to go to the store to pay now.
Arghh i hate this self serve thing.. And as of recently i just got a letter from virgin mobile saying if i dont top up, they are going to shut off my phone, and i cant freaken get on the self serve even to do that, i need to give my cell number..which since it has been so long for some reason they decided i shouldnt even be able to recieve txts anymore :\ Help! I need to top it up by FEB 8TH!! How do i get in this thing..
