Nice little app to test Modbus Slaves I connected very easily to my wireless network. I just needed the ip address of my laptop ModbusTCP simulator and that was it. The fact that it only read one Coil at a time was kinda disappointing but in an overall it worked well. I am using a Samsung Note 10.1
Update needed? I used this app and it worked great. Now my phone updated to Lolliepop 5.1.1 and I cannot use it any more. It loads but I cannot access the setup menus, no way to set the IP address of the target device. Any update for new OS?
Update: As ready for prime time as your tablet is... Earlier I wrote that apparently the software it seems to think it's going to use the wifi interface no matter what. I have a belkin wireless USB to Ethernet interface and the software can't find it. Running on a Toshiba Thrive. These programs should check if there's an eth0 interface available and if so. ask the user if they'd like to use it. Apparently the completeness of Ethernet stacks varies from tablet to tablet, so if your tablet fully supports Ethernet like the Zeki or the Proscan, then this program will work as long as you turn off wifi.
modbus TCP support max 125 byte modbus TCP support max 125 byte at a time that why it will give an error if no. of register will be more then 125
Nothing more than the basics, but helped a lot in getting register values.
Bugs when reading 128 registers or more If I try to read up to 124 input registers, it works. When I try 128 registers, it doesn't send data. The server (using libmodbus) returns with 0 bytes received
* Added a dedicated landscape layout
* Application no longer disconnects from modbus slave/server when the device changes orientation.
* Input boxes now default to the correct keyboard (i.e. numeric) when entering items - both on main activity screen and on settings screen.
* Misc bugs reported to via the market (thanks for the feedback!)
