Works after upgrade to Lollipop on my Note 4 Interestingly I've found that on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Skiplock does seem to work even after the upgrade to Lollipop. At least the WiFi detection portion works. I'm not sure why given so many other people saying it doesn't work for them after the upgrade to Lollipop. I'm glad it does because the new Trusted Places feature of Lollipop doesn't handle WiFi detection, only geographical location, and that doesn't seem to work correctly for me when I'm inside a building. This is the case on my wife's Note 4 after upgrade to Lollipop as well.
Why does it delete everything you have written? I think removing GPS and adding bluetooth is a wash. So I don't understand the charge. Nevertheless, It's a Wonderful app and I used the original for 5 years and $5 is small potatoes for a company that you can trust and I have no problem with it. Thank you for the app and for your integrity. William McDonald / galaxy s4. I'm on 4.4.4 and it refuses to work. They're not waiting for lollipop. I will never buy Samsung or motorolora=samsung. list phones that work with your app please.
Thanks Ben. I don't know when you will stop development of this app due to compatibility issues with lollipop, but if you are still looking to add features I would like to skip the lock with only a wifi network being detected but not connected.
Locked me out of my phone None of the passwords associated with my phone will unlock it. Had to completely erase phone including memory card. Do not download.
Essential. Superb app. Only 2 suggestions. Time based lock/unlock method? I don't want a locked screen after 22:00 while I'm not connected to any Wifi or Bluetooth. 2. Turn on Mobile Data when disconnected from wifi. EACH FEATURE STANDS FOR A STAR.
Does what it says unless you run Lollipop This is the only app I've found that reliably disables the pin code when it's not needed. I wish it would work with Android 5 as this worked reliably and Smart lock in Lollipop is close to useless.
Minor bug fixes. Marked app as incompatible with Android 5+. Due to changes in Android 5.0, it is no longer possible for an app to unlock the device. See the FAQ for details. The good news for you is that Android 5.0 has much of SkipLock's functionality built in now: http://www.droid-life.com/2014/11/18/android-5-0-feature-google-updates-smart-lock-on-lollipop-to-include-trusted-places/
Do you want to know if someone is connected to your wifi without permission?
