Could be better As mentioned before it crashes when searching a color name. Seriously needs a white balance option for more reliable color matching and it works be helpful if it had a feature that allowed you to click any color for suggested palettes. It allows this with single colors, but once you have a suggested palette it would be nice to further explore combinations from those color swatches. These few fixes would really make this app a 5 star.
Some great stuff, some not so great I work for an independent Benjamin Moore retailer. The color capture feature does not seem accurate at all. However, the rest of the app's features are fantastic! Each product is listed with full details, and the color chips are easy to access. When you choose one color, it will give you several sets of coordinating colors as well. This app is great to use for color inspiration. Just don't rely on it to tell you what Moore's color you just took a picture of.
So much potential (using SG Note 3) But the app crashes every time I start typing to search for a colour by name. Where are the designer classic colours? Please fix as I want to use this app daily with my customers. I would also prefer better colour recognition, but I recognize how difficult it is to have the perfect lighting and camera calibration to make that happen.
Crashes It crashes when searching or clicking the icon to take a photo. It worked when I first installed it though. Uninstaller and clearing data did not fix. Needs white balance. Would be nice to see what colors go well with like on the website. App is unusable with the crashing.
Capture Color does not work but I like the other features Every time that I try to take a picture the app tells me that it was unable to find a matchig color. I do like the feature that allows my customers to find a complementary color.
If you look for a picture in your phone then want to check out different photo you have to go all way back in your photos. It will it let you just cancel and go to next picture in your phone. So if you have to of pictures they take for ever to load to find where you were at. It should just let you go back or cancel and go to next photo.
Updated App to fix crashes due to memory allocation issues
