A new easy way to pay your Local Earned Income Tax in Pennsylvania!

If you live in a PA district where Berkheimer is the collector, you can use this app to easily submit and file your local EIT tax returns.

Currently two scenarios are supported:

1. Submit a completed paper return.
If you have completed a Local Earned Income Tax Return, you can take photos of the return, any supporting documents and schedules, enter the amount owed or the refund amount, pay by credit card, and submit your return to Berkheimer.

2. Generate an EZ return if you only have W2s.
If your EIT Return can be completed with only W2s, then you can take photos of your W2s and enter your employer and wage information. The app will calculate your tax liability or refund. You can then pay by credit card and submit right in the app.

More filing scenarios will be added as we add more functionality to the app.

The app, sure it's easy to use. Except it doesn't allow you to use your bank account info, it only let's you use a Debit Card or a Credit Card, then it tells you a because you are using a card there is a 2.5% fee, which obviously is predatory it's the only option Which when paying your taxes can add up pretty fast. I have an idea stop wasting money on postage, checks are becoming extinct, 1% of your customer base is ripping off the bottom to send back, send an email or a postcard and accept ACH.

Make fast and easy payments! First off that would be great if that was the truth. Couldn't even find my per capita tax bill. Asks for a 13-digit account number when the account number is only 7 digits. It tells you to fill in the rest with leading 0's but that doesn't work. Why do I need to pay taxes on money that's already been taxed and then when I wanna buy something I have to pay tax on that? Is a different discussion. Hopefully, your app gets better in the future but I won't be using it.

There was no easy way to find my accounts or ask anyone for help. All the phone numbers lead to automated machines that circled around to just paying the bill, and no option to speak to anyone that works there. No local brick and mortar location to stop into as well, a lot of run around to get things paid or figured out.
