Designed by Jack Nicklaus II and opened in 1991, Legacy Golf Links has long been a local favorite. Renovated in 2011 with brand new greens, this 7,004-yard, 18-hole course is a must play when visiting the Sandhills of North Carolina. In addition to four par 3s, which are as beautiful and challenging as any in the area, the course's finishing hole — "The Bear" — was once rated one of the toughest holes in North Carolina. However, with a number of tee options, golfers of all levels find the course very playable with a number of wonderful vistas.
Witness the revival. Embrace the challenge. We are extremely proud of the serene and well-manicured grounds here at Landa Park Golf Course, New Braunfels. Our 18-hole public course covers a 122-acre spread, combining a challenging layout with spectacular Texas Hill Country views.
The finest golf courses don't claim their environment: they embrace it. Situated above Bay Harbor, Crooked Tree Golf Club clearly reflects that mandate, and reflects BOYNE's commitment to the exceptional — making it an essential course for any avid golfer seeking the best that Michigan has to offer. Carved through stands of centuries-old hardwood, the fairways of the first nine holes are lined by old growth trees — creating stunning sightlines from one hole to the next. The course begins to open back up on number 14, and finishes with a dramatic flair, offering stunning views of Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay. Recently, Arthur Hills and his team of architects set out to enhance the playability of the course with a range of improvements to holes 16, 17, and 18. Enhancements to the tee boxes, fairways, and greens on these holes have left an immediate impact, offering a truly spectacular finish to your round.
Crafted with nods to the design philosophies of a long list of legendary golf course architects, The Monument's ever-changing personality packs an unending list of surprises for players of every level. Borrowing traits from designers like Donald Ross, Dr. Alister Mackenzie, Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio, and Pete Dye, The Monument lives up to its name as it pays homage to some of the game's most important influences — with holes dedicated to noteworthy players and key contributors. The course itself requires a complete game, with demanding fairways, and undulating greens that reward careful planning. From the opening tee shot high atop Boyne Mountain through the signature island green on the 18th hole, The Monument embodies the best of BOYNE Golf — with stunning vistas and unforgettable challenges that will call you back, time and time again.
The Donald Ross Memorial is a composite of classic golf holes designed by Donald Ross in the early part of the century and re-created at Boyne Highlands from some of the architect's most renowned courses. It was named Best New Resort Course in the U.S. in 1990 by Golf Digest. Ross is recognized as, The father of golf course architecture in America, emigrating here from Scotland in 1899. He was by far the most prolific, with an estimated 600 courses to his credit. He often stated, Golf should be a pleasure, not a penance. Ross designed courses that fit into the natural contours of the land. Not unduly penal, but strategic and deceptive, and courses that players of all abilities could love and respect, but which would be exacting tests for the most skilled players. Enjoy the History and Tradition of the Donald Ross Memorial!
Bay Harbor Golf Club showcases 27 holes of play consisting of three distinct courses. The Links stretches along the rocky coastline for more than a mile of 140-foot cliffs in the wind, waves and ancient sand dunes as your backdrop. The Quarry nine is situated on an old abandoned shale quarry and is arguably the most visually unique course built in the Midwest. And cut into hardwoods, The Preserve nine has incredible topographic variety with a dramatic finish on Lake Michigan.
Built on one of the most stunning settings in the world, at the tip of the Baja Peninsula marked by sheer granite cliffs, huge windswept dunes and rolling desert foothills 10 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, golf legend Jack Nicklaus has designed a course that is poised to redefine the Cabo golf experience. Created as an exclusive amenity for owners and guests of Quivira Los Cabos, this world-class layout offers dazzling views and breathtaking drops from tee to fairway. In a destination revered for its unique ocean-desert-mountain setting, Quivira offers more oceanfront exposure than any other course in Los Cabos, with views of the ocean from every hole.
Welcome to a golf course that is more than a place to play — it is a place to relax. Enjoy championship-level services and facilities seasonally from March through November. Golf Digest rated our 18-hole, parkland-style course with bent grass a stunning four stars. Hole 16, a par 5 playing to a peninsular green jutting into Ford Lake, has been regarded as Eagle Crest's signature hole since the course was first opened in 1989 and was named one of the 18 toughest public golf course holes in Michigan by the viewers and listeners of Michigan Golf Live, a TV and radio program that spotlights great golf experiences around the state of Michigan. Enjoy both subtle and abrupt elevation shifts that are unique to most Southeast Michigan courses.
Recently selected as "Buffalo's Best Public Golf Course," Harvest Hill's magnificent Dr. Michael Hurdzan-designed golf center was forged from the farmlands of old in Orchard Park. Hurdzan took full advantage of the existing tranquil beauty to create a compelling par-72, 7021-yard test of golf that exhilarates and delights at every turn. With precision and care, his team offered up a delicate balance of playability and strategy. While difficult enough to test the mettle of scratch golfers, multiple tees on each hole enable golfers of all abilities to enjoy the special design features that have brought Dr. Hurdzan national acclaim.
For over 55 years, Woodhaven Country Club has offered a premier golfing experience for members and their guests. Our member-friendly, 18-hole course has a consistently high quality of turf each year due to the care of our outstanding superintendent. The fairways and tees are a lush Bermuda grass, and the well-manicured bent grass greens are Woodhaven’s pride and joy. The back nine is characterized by rolling hills and tree-lined fairways, while the front nine is significantly longer and more challenging. Woodhaven Country Club offers many types of golf memberships to meet your individual needs. We also offer golf outings for corporations and charities.
When the Arthur Hills first caught the attention of Michigan's golfing elite, it quickly earned a reputation as an essential test, bolstered by its brilliant design, superb course conditions and breathtaking good looks - all of which were showcased on Big Break X: Michigan, the Golf Channel's popular golf travelogue. The Arthur Hills course bears all the markings of the master designer. From wide, bunker dotted fairways and narrowing approaches into fascinating green complexes, this course provides sufficient variety and complexity to test golfers of all ages and abilities. After settling into your round on the front nine, its character continues to evolve. The approach to the 11th hole, a lengthy par-5, begins a three-hole ascent to one of the highest points in the region and the magnificent view from the 13th tee. The round then concludes with conviction - a 577 yard par-5 that is reachable in two for those brave enough to attempt the long shot.
It's not hype. It's not pretense. It's a fact: The Heather at Boyne Highlands Resort has earned its reputation as one of the finest championship courses in the entire United States. From the opening tee shot in 1966 and bearing all the markings of its legendary designer, this Robert Trent Jones Sr. course has tested some of the finest names in the game, playing host to Michigan Amateurs, AGJA Championships, the Michigan State Pro-Am, and The Celebrity Tour. But no matter how your game is going, The Heather's sublime setting is a reward in itself. With a longer layout and several forced carries, the course requires careful planning and patience. But the abundant wildlife, rolling fairways, natural wetlands, bright white sand bunkers and blueberry bogs punctuating the course are a constant reminder that golf is much more than just a tally at the end of the round.
