Please Help. Unfortunately I'm not able to get the app to connect with my Xbox One, even though I have the setting turned on and my Wi-Fi is working just fine. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy III so that's probably the issue....

Why is no one talking about this? Im on a galaxy s3 4.4.2 and there is no option to resize the screen so it lines up with the pip boy. Im not missing it the option is simply not there. Please look into fixing this I'd really like to use my phone in my pip boy.

The reason I do not give it 5 stars is because it just burns through battery, and there is no way to attach a charger when it is inside the pipboy. It is ideal if all you want to do is play fallout for an hour or two (but who can stop at two)??

It worked at one point Before the update to fallout 4 it worked just fine, after it will not connect to my xbox 1. I even uninstalled pipboy and reinstalled it, still nothing. Will rate higher after a patch is made.

Won't connect to Xbox One EVER! I have been trying for weeks to get this app connected to my Xbox One. I've searched for solutions and nothing has even come close to possibly working. I would love to use this app if I could get out connected.

Solid, except for local map Being able to use an app in conjunction with the "big screen" wasn't evented by you guys, but given that despite how obvious it is in hindsight, nobody really does it, you might as well have. Now just fix the local map display, and maybe don't almost literally burn through my battery and this is an easy five stars.
FIXED XBOX ONE CONNECTION/screen on galaxy s3 not fitting still I did a number of things to get this to work so I'm not sure which of these did it but one of them worked for me. Being connected to the same WiFi network. Created a home group on windows 10 and allowed the xbox to share media info on windows. Reset the alternate MAC address on the xbox. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and moved the app to the SD card on my phone. This worked with the note 4 and galaxy s3 but you can't fix the screen on the s3 which is a bummer so please fix that soon bethesda. 👍
Almost Flawless I would give 5 stars if the app actually went full screen (from one end of the screen to the other). Instead, it fits the screen like we have a Pipboy. **For all the people who say it doesn't work. You have to enable the Fallout to send the data to the companion app; you do this by going to Fallout's setting. After turning the setting on, just restart Fallout and start you saved game. Go back to the app and you should be able to connect, otherwise there might be an issue with your WIFI.**
Looks cool Need help Just downloaded this app to my galaxy s6 it looks really cool in demo mode I have fallout 4 on my PC and recently started getting some really troubling issue where I am unable to pull up my pipboy I can't select or see any quests or switch any of my items or view the map or anything. The only time that I can is while on inside power armor which is very strange. So for a quick fix I thought this app would work, being that I am used to the glitches in the Fallout games. Sad but true. App is enabled in game.

Doesnt work on s3 or s6 I tried to use this app on my s3 a cupple days ago nothing tried all the trouble shooting...nothing... wont connect says either wifis bad or pip boy ap not enabled all the fixes wont work. Just got a s6 yesterday same exact thing. Please domt make a fancy app amd get people excited just for it to not work

Cant connect to my console. I would love to use this app, but everytime I try to connect to my xbox one it just continuously scans for the device. I literally went around for 10 minutes in Fallout 4 and looked back down at my tablet only for it to be looking still. My xbox does have the pip boy setting on under gameplay. Until I can use this app, I will have to give this a meagre 2 stars even though it deserves more.
Taking gaming to a whole new level. I love using this app. I like how it works in real-time with the game. So if I use it to change weapons with it, it swaps them in game immediately. In retrospect, I would've pre-ordered the Pip Boy edition of Fallout 4 had I known then what I know now. Keep up the amazing work Bethesda, I always look forward to your games. And now, your apps!
Demo works, syncing doesnt. Tryed to sync this app to my game for 3 hours. Tried before I got my pipboy in the game and after as well. My girlfriend has been trying ti sync it while I played as well but still just searches for the device. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as resetting the game after turning the app settings on and off and back on. The demo is great but would love to try this out for reals...espicalpy since I spent all that mobey on this damned pip boy edition!!
Network waste of time I had it working on my computer befor I had to reinstall my windows bc of a hard drive. And now it don't want to connect to my computer again.. I'm on a difrent internal up then I was befor pls add something where we can pick the up can will connect to... ok u started a new game and still don't want to connect at all I don't know what's going on but don't bother with it... when it did work it was nice for the map and all... once fixed and updated I might change my mind about it.. and I'm a fan of fallout
Custom PC builds beware. I custom built a PC and did not give it Wi-Fi capabilities since I plan on having it hardwired at all times. This app only works if your mobile (app) and platform (Fallout 4) share the same Wi-Fi network. This means this app is entirely useless to me. There needs to be another way to connect accounts for people like me. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
