Ratings and reviews

While this is a huge downgrade from Fallout Shelter it still has its appeal that'll scratch your itch for simulator game. One huge improvement is the comprehensive innovation to Traits. The cons are as follow: (1)No more stat adjustment, this is purely reliant on equipments. (2) While making decision as a ruler is part of the fun, it lacks more of those "events" making it repetitive early on. (3) Since it's reliant on equipment, it's hard to accomplish the objective that requires specific hp%.

I really do like the game. It's still my first day playing it, and im so into it! This game is so amazing so far and looks very realistic with the graphics and the animations of the NPC. I love that there are love triangles and jealousy when someone is cheating and reported to the king/queen. I dont like just one thing, and this is with the growth of the babies. I think there's no need of 16 days to age up. Great game after all!

More complex or at least with a different focus than Fallout Shelter, but where Shelter did have some microtransactions for "lunchboxes" (loot boxes), it didn't push them very aggressively. Castles on the other hand is full of in-game ads for lootboxes, premium NPCs (which will die of old age anyway!), season passes, and other stuff. It's very in-your-face and off-putting.
