I have a Pixel XL and use Google Fi as my provider but after a dozen calls and a visit to the Bright house office I have found nobody that can connect me to their so called free service. It used to work when I had a Droid and was with Verizon, but it doesn't work at all even with a wi-fi only tablet without 3G/4G standing in their office. I took both so when they tried to say it was my device I could show them. Honestly they were all trying to be helpful and promised to call me back but I haven't heard back.
I only really used the app a few times back when I didn't have a good data plan. The permissions don't seem intrusive, so that's not a worry. But my phone has limited storage for apps, so no reason to keep this one.
Insufficient It seems that the secure login should be simplified and app based. Also, why not log into app with BHN credentials and then you are automatically logged into all BHN wifi spots. Don't need an app to let me know BHN wifi is available.
Helpful Sure is useful where I live, not many hotspots around but with the app I can find them.
This is what you call progresses? The old app would install the profile automatically, on this one you need a computer degree to get it going!
