It was finished in 1611, just 85 years after the first translation of the New Testament into English appeared (Tyndale, 1526). The Authorized Version, or King James Version, quickly became the standard for English-speaking Protestants. Its flowing language and prose rhythm has had a profound influence on the literature of the past 400 years. The King James Version present on the Bible Gateway matches the 1987 printing. The KJV is public domain in the United States.

Very frustrating. Every two times that you search for a bible verse an ad for a game hijacks your phone and you can't escape it. I guess it's ok if you're just looking for one verse/chapter but if you're wanting to flip through different books of the Bible this is not it.

This bible app. is great for everyone. It is easy to read and understand. you are able to find the scripture super easy. Yhay makes this mobile bible app. a great help because you don't have to carry your bible in your hands. The kids like this alot!
