When I'm looking up ebooks, the app always freezes and closes itself... I uninstalled it like two months ago and then decided to reinstall it tonight and it's still doing the same thing... I don't know who is fixing this app, but they need to be fired because it sucks still...
Functional but many small & annoying quirks. For example: why always prompt for my library credentials? Just save and transparently reuse them like every other app or there. Also, please make it so we can put holds on items with multiple copies/editions. Feature request: notifications when I have overdue items and holds that are in.
Needs major work I love the Clevenet library system but this Android app is a real headache. I attempt to use it to search and download mp3 audio books but most of the time it will not function. For example I cannot even pull up my own bookshelf of checked out titles. And often I find a book I want but when I attempt to borrow it the app takes me to some strange unrelated webpage. I really wish this app was more functional. In the meantime I recommend just using the regular website.
Great app I love the app. It is a little slow and can be spotty at times, but it is nice to see the library roll something like this out. Keep the updates coming!
Functional (barely) but clearly not a native Android application Added a star because now you have a true native ActionBar and the legacy menu button is gone. Still, you can tell that it's just a webapp wrapped in a native wrapper. Too many loading dialogs that lock up the app. And your new overflow menu does not follow UX guidelines. Everything in that menu should be in a navigation drawer. The overflow should only be for actions contextually related to the current activity. As such, the experience is still pretty ugly and painful. But it's getting better.
Timesaver It's great to be able to search for books at home, place my hold, and stop at the library to pick them up.
- Multiple bug fixes
- New menu design for easier access across all devices.
