Had a literal "Needle in a haystack" situation when I lost my flex 2 in our friend's yard at night and didn't realize it until the next day. Used the app and it led me right to the spot it was buried in the grass.. turned fully hot when I put my phone down right on top of my lost tracker!
Would be zero stars if that was possible. The program lists my fitbit one as being in range. However, the distant from phone, cold, warm, hot indicator does not work. Your left knowing your fitbit is somewhere within Bluetooth range, which could 100s of feet in any direction.. Just about useless... Several updates later and still does not find my fitbit even if it's sitting on top of my mobile phone. Offer of support was just that, no tangible help tendered...
***update still no refund received as promised in app description. Demoted to 1 star***** Notrticularly helpful if there is 2 fitbit devices in the same household. Waste of money, would like a refund
I'll admit I hated having to purchase this app, however it took me right to the location of my Fitbit, deep in the bowels of our couch. $4.99 to find a $100 device ended being a very good investment. Total time spent searching before purchase, 3 hours, after purchase 10 minutes.
A neighbor found it, but the app sensed it in the area. Told me what time it sensed it. It actually pinged it at their house. This app is awesome.
If i could give this app no stars, i would , it talls me my fitbit is near when i know i lost it in my house, thats the only info i get given. When i click find my fitbit, it tells me i need to pay £4 for the upgrade to use this facility. Waste if time, i am uninstalling the app, i advuse u dont unstall it in the first place.
