Book of Spells manages your spell list and helps with all your spellcasting activities, so you can focus on enjoying the game. Here are some of its great features:

*DATABASE: The database contains spells from all the official 5e books and allows you to create your own homebrew spells.

*FILTERS: A vast array of distinctive filters will help you navigate the extensive spell list quickly and efficiently.

*CHARACTER SHEET: You can create a spellcaster sheet that will help you manage your spells. All official classes and subclasses are supported, and multiclassing is fully implemented.

*CALCULATIONS: The app will automatically calculate all the relevant stats for your character, including spell save DC, spell attack modifier, spell slots, cantrips known, spells known, and number of spells you can prepare!

*MANAGING SPELLS: All the essential spells from your classes and subclasses are already added to your spell list, and you can freely remove them or add different ones if needed.

*DICE ROLLER: When you cast a spell, you can expend a spell slot and also roll for attack and damage (all built-in spells already contain proper formulas for the rolls). Upcasting supported!

*DAILY TRACKER: The character sheet has a dedicated tab where you can add trackers for spells and abilities that have a daily limit.

*LONG REST: The long rest option restores all expended spell slots and the appropriate number of uses for trackers.

*CONDITIONS: The app automatically checks the description fields of all spells and links details for detected conditions.

(Edit: At some point after posting this, the feature was added. Best spell book available. 5 stars.) This app is basically exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I feel is missing, and the reason it is 4 stars instead of 5, is I would like to see dividers between spell levels when sorting by level in the spell search section, exactly as we see in a character's "Cast" and "Prepare" pages. This would dramatically improve the readability of the spell list.

I would love to give this a 5, especially after being sent the file to add all of the non 2014 PHB spells to 2024. Thanks! However I noticed that Bigby's Hand is missing from both versions, not sure about any others. Also wonder if it would be helpful to add some sort of always prepared setting for things from say species or sub classes etc. I found a way to make it work by editing my number of prepared slots though. Definitely a great app, I look forward to future possibilities!

This app is very well made and intuitive, but the one thing holding it back for me is the "cast" page. overall it's nice that spells are separated by class when your multiclassing but adding the option to view all your prepared spells on the cast page, including ones you get from other sources in the "daily" page; would be much more convenient than having to thumb through each spell list and page of abilities when your turn comes up in combat.
