Great way to learn notes on the piano There is a training mode where you can click on the correct key at your own pace. There is also a play mode that requires you to select the correct piano keys as the notes move across the sheet music. The pace gets progressively faster. Possible improvements can include the ability to play both bass and treble at the same time instead of separately. Additionally, the play mode begins very slowly. Almost too slow. The ability to increase the starting speed or a set based on previous attempt. Great app!
Really great I played bass clef in high school so that's is just a refresher but I never learned treble. This has helped me TREMENDOUSLY in terms of learning my notes again and for the first time. Also its great for learning key placement on the piano which i never learned, but after using this is think i coukd really learn how ti llay the piano now that i have basic fundamentals down. I would recommend this to anyone. The only thing is you have to upgrade to get the flats and sharps in each clef. Wonderful app
I never ever I breve have taken the time to write a review, but this is the best app I have ever downloaded. I like to try all the editors picks etc and have wanted to play piano for so long. This app has me on my way.IT REALLY TEACHES HOW TO READ MUSIC NOTES. In a couple of hours I have almost learned ALL the notes by name and location on the piano (treble clef). Next I'll learn the bass notes. Thanks for making it free so we can all learn to play the magic music. I can't say enough.
Good practice game Basic drill on note names/piano keys. Includes both treble and bass clef. Starts slow and then increases in speed as long as you keep answering correctly. My only complaint is that it doesn't display previous high scores. Can't whine too much since it is free. :-)
Good but could be better Awesome tool if you want to brush up on your music reading skills. I've realized I'm starting to get rusty and installed this app. The only problem is that it only shows one octave and it can be confusing trying to push the right key when it's in the next octave to the right or to the left. If only there was maybe a way to slide the screen to the right and left so you can indeed properly train like on a real instrument. Other than that it is still quite helpful.
Such a great app I started using this last night with only minimal knowledge of treble clef and zero knowledge of bass clef; now I've almost got it completely down pat! The only bug I've encountered is that it sometimes will randomly shut down the app. No other problems though so far! Thanks for a great app.
Fixed screen size problem for some tablets.
