Superb fantasy adventure. Story is nothing new, which you can find hundreds of fantasy books on. Yet the game itself is just so much fun. It has multiple locations, characters, puzzles, collectibles. Exciting post play features and a phenomenal soundtrack and voice acting. Developers created a wonderful world of imagination where the player can easily lose oneself. Thank you Mad Head Games (I think). Big Fish, please publish more games like this.
This is the first BF game I've really enjoyed in a while. I liked the story which was predictable but still enjoyable, there was lots to do, varied puzzles and HOP, 1 type of collectible throughout and morphing objects in the HOP. There was a bonus chapter and it was a good length. There wasn't a map which I only realised near the end so I don't think it's missed. Overall I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend.
I usually enjoy Big Fish games. There have been some mediocre games put out lately but I continued to stick with big fish because I know what they are capable of. This game hits it out the park for a home run with me. Its been a little bit of a wait for a game like this but was worth the wait. Loved the story, graphics, gameplay was all beautiful. The only complaint I would have is there was not very much bonus content although I did enjoy the bonus chapter which helped complete and give the story closure.
Exquisite visuals making for a compelling experience. The puzzles are nothing new. Story is good. The f game itself manages to be a memorable experience. Haven't played something this good in a while. Lots is extras which is very nice. I wished I could save the concept art. Loved the layered graphics in dialogues similar to comics. Clunky touch here and there with sensitive areas too small.
The game is easy to play and sometimes difficult to solve. The guide is there if you need it but occasionally even it can't help because things are a little small. (I am 62 y/o with glasses) You can enlarge the field but you cannot make the puzzle pieces bigger. Its still worth paying for to get rid of any ads and let you loose yourself in the game.
The noise and screen motion when you hit the hint button was so annoying and unnecessary. This game was okay but I could never get into enjoying it because of the loud "explosion" and the jolting of the screen each time I used the hint. Played 2/3 through and now I'm going to uninstalling. Developer if you see this fix that issue with the hint button, just a normal arrow or twinkling indicator is more than sufficient and doesn't interrupt gameplay. Just saying.
