Great I love this game it's fun and easy the story is great it seemed so real. Well keep it up big fish love all the games I played by you so far can't wait for the #3
The game tried to kill me! It isn't cursed or anything. I just stayed up to late playing the game one night. In the morning, I got up to drive to school but was so sleepy that I dozed of long enough to begin to drift into the opposite lane. I managed to wake up just in time. I'd give the game 5 stars if it wasn't so dangerous for my health
Suspenseful but a little disappointed, it was fairly short and no bonus chapter, even tho it's a collector's edition. Many questions left unanswered!! How's the new owner related to the family?!? Also no difference in HOPS, all are the same style, no silhouettes, piece by piece style, etc. I did appreciate that you could keep tools with you for multiple uses and use several tools intelligently... Such as being able to smash glass with any number of objects as you would in reality, which was very appreciated
Stalled at final scenes Like others, I can't get the radio to work properly to trigger the crow bar and sparking wires. I obviously didn't finish the conversation fully, but can't get it to work again, so can't finish the game. Very frustrating end to what had been a good game to that point.
Final Scenes Unplayable I mostly enjoyed this game and played it up to the ending but was unable to open the grate to obtain the last puzzle piece for the chart. I finally studied the strategy guide and spent literally hours going back with a fine-toothed comb through every reachable scene but never found the inventory item I needed to open that grate! It was so frustrating! In addition, there were many threads of the story left with no answers: locked gates and doors, and characters whose fate was never explained. Navigation was also hampered by overly sensitive back buttons and other things that were a struggle to work. It could have been a great game, but in the end I concluded that nobody bothered to "proof-read" the final draft. I only played this game (a sequel) because I could never get the original Shiver game to load. I uninstalled and reloaded it seven or eight times but it was impossible, always bumping me back to the original install page, even after I gave it extra time to load and checked my memory storage to make sure the stated size was fully installed. I'm not sure how to get my money back now. I will probably avoid Big Fish games for a while.
Fantastic Mystery Adventure The graphics & animation are amazing. Explosions, fires, rainstorms, ghosts and more...all incredibly realistic. There were times when I was actually frightened. The HOGs, mini puzzles, & object searches are beautifully detailed and "just hard enough". I loved discovering all the creepy areas of this haunted house and its grounds. Downloaded & played without any issues on my Galaxy S4. Very long game at a great price.
