Auto tracking still doesn't work. Tracking manually does work though. Otherwise I really like the idea behind this app! And it's simple, just collecting bike data, no need to creating an account or logging in or anything.
New version... I'm confused about new version. I'm starting it but then seems to shut down...Is It normal?
I believed in the project but looks abandoned, I think that the best thing they could do It's make it opensource
Strava connection I have now used bikedataproject to connect the service to strava, using my Facebook account. How do I proceed and connect this app to Strava (or Facebook?) in order to automatically sync my data? I can't find a login form, but just the "record ride" bike symbol.
Quick and easy to use What more could you want from an app that asks for your help to log data? A1 interface, so simple and easy to use, press a button and off you go (once you get satellite reception). Good work cobbers!
Great idea I'm a big fan of what bikes vs cars is doing. The app is a great idea, overall interface and everything is great. A lot of my rides don't record though, and the Mile counter almost never works. A lot of the time, I feel excited to add my co2 savings just to see it didn't record any of it.
-Automatic tracking: No longer need to start and stop the tracking manually (this feature requires internet connection+app running in the background)
-Shows your last bike trip and compares it to public transportation and car.
-You can now easily share your achievement and your last trip to social media.
-The app now has clear connections to the websites bikedataproject.com (global data) and bikes-vs-cars.com (film website).
