BILT TOOLBOX
The BILT Toolbox is a collection of instructions to help you with home improvement, auto, and safety projects, as well as guides for basic power tools. Follow easy BILT instructions to repair a toilet, lay bathroom tile, paint a room, jump a car battery, change a tire, use a circular saw, adjust a bicycle, repair drywall, and so much more to help with anything adulthood sends your way.

We use the BILT Toolbox too, so if we have a question about something, we design an instruction for it. We welcome your suggestions, too. From personal experience we recommend downloading “How to Jump a Car Battery” before you need it because internet connections at soccer fields can be spotty. :)


DATA PRIVACY
We do not collect personal data other than what you choose to provide if you create an account, register a product, or leave a review.

We do collect aggregate data such as the number of downloads for each product and the average time it takes to complete an instruction step, but it cannot be tied to an individual user.

Great idea and execution. Easy to use and understand. It's so helpful being able to see a 360 environment. It really makes instructions clear and not confusing. Haven't needed assembled anything yet, but I went through a few products and was really impressed. A lot of products are already included, and I can't wait for more to be added. The brake jobs instructions make it so anyone could follow along. Great work developers!

The most frustrating way to attempt a simple task. Fragments of verbal direction, the ability to try to move the angle and be lost in space. The worst version of directions i have ever had. I plead to any manufacturer that uses this format to also include a paper copy in the product.

Fantastic for accessibility. Especially if you have difficulty reading and do better with being told what to do. It doesn't have all of the instructions for some items? Or else instructions are outdated for some items which leads to it telling you to do something that doesn't make a lot of sense. Also, my ex made fun of me for needing it to build things as I am dyslexic and have difficulty reading written instruction :(
