You have to keep the ball alive as long as possible while listening to a barrage of dancehall bashment riddims and sound effects. You move the paddles on all four sides with one finger. If you place a second finger on the screen, the paddle size will double but you won't be able to move it. You get 1 point when you hit the ball with the paddle.
You can get 2 points by putting the target on the ball while the target is red. The target stays red for 1 second when you first place a finger on the screen. If you hit the ball with the target, it will change its course.
Every time the ball hits a paddle or you hit it with the target, the ball will also increase its speed. If you miss the ball with the paddle, the shields will keep the ball in play. You have 3 chances on each side. The green line means 3 shields left, yellow means 2 shields left and red means 1 shield left. Once the ball goes out where there is no shield, it's game over.
At random intervals a ghost ball will appear. It moves in the symmetrical opposite direction to the main ball so you do not need to aim for it with the paddles. Your objective if possible is to hit it with the target. The target does not need to be red for you to get the bonus item. The bonus item will either be temporary stretched paddles, a speed decrease or a shield replaced if there are any that need replacing.
There are 7 different bashment riddims in the game. You will hear a new riddim after every 20 points. To hear them all you will need to reach 120 points.
