Working now I don't know what has changed except that it is working now. Initially it simply didn't work and I was very disappointed. I came back intending to get more specifics for George who kindly offered to help me. Instead I'm reporting that it's working well. The only glitch I found was needing to reload the rare bird list after following one bird to a map and then trying to return to the list. It goes back so far and then gives you blank info. A simple return to the home page gets it going again. Happy.
Was working with ebird but has stopped. Tried Uninstall then reinstall. Does not work at all now. It won't even reach support.
This is a great app that can find birds very easily, and has a life list that is a little complicated, but it has a search tool for it so you can quickly check it off on your life list. It also has a pretty good bird ID tool to help identify what you see. You do need to pay to see more different birds on the maps though. It is an super awesome app.
Excellent App Works great in the field with or without cell service if you load content to your phone before going out. Nice opportunity to contribute photos to the app via the website. Friendly and helpful technical support if needed.
Constant Crashes! I am tired of all the crashes. I will not renew subscription if the app is not fixed!
Purchase the 9 dollar bundle, never remembers my purchase! Uninstalled and going back to books.
Thanks for updating to BirdsEye 1.2.
In this version, we are introducing a new powerful tool called Smart Search, to search nearby species by color, size or habitat.
Use color, size and habitat to quickly narrow down the list of nearby birds to find exactly what you are looking for. Just stepped off the plane in Sydney, Australia and want to figure out what that blue and white colored swallow is? A couple taps in BirdsEye and you'll be adding the Welcome Swallow to your list!
eBird Mobile lets you record the birds you see, adding them to eBird with ease
