preliminary review This is one of the very few chromatic tuner apps that covers the upper range of the violin, the lower half of the eighth octave. The most amazing thing, which is going to take a while to verify, is that setting the temperament root to a key seems to cause the perfect intervals to fall in the correct place as well as the more difficult seconds and sevenths. For example, a B in the key of C is not the same as the B in the key of E for string players.
please fix the interface. broken since getting new droid turbo Hi! This app is great and worked very well on my S4. But please fix the interface. It has broken as a result of getting the new Droid Turbo. Perhaps it is due to the resolution of the device. When displaying the frequency, the first two digits are shown next to the octave & note, but the third digit appears to be below the first two and is not readable... :(
Best tuner app out there I've used this app on both iOS and Android - first on my 3GS, then on my HTC Sensation XE and now on my Nexus 5. I absolutely love it! Only problem i have, is that it will lock up on Android if i do anything else for a while with the app stil open in the background. A simple workaround for this is to simply close it after using it, which i've gotten used to doing by now. I would definitely give it a 5 star score if this was fixed!
Excellent The ability to use various tempered keys, the needle - perfect for checking pitch. Use it with a cello it works great. This app is a must for anyone studying a string musical instrument and its probably good for singing.
Best on the PLAY STORE I really enjoy this app and will continue to recommend it to anyone using Android. But, on Apple the best still goes to TonalEnergy because it's still a more user-friendly app compared to this one. But all-in-all still a great app.
IPhone version much better I used to have this on my iPhone so when I upgraded to an android phone (HTC one x) I bought it again. It still works and is still accurate but is really jerky so not as easy to use (it runs mega smooth on iphone). Disappointed overall as it's not exactly a memory intensive app.
