Lollipop Note 4 My Sincerest appreciate 4this app. Wasn't happy about how pricing became cheaper the closer to renewal But problem now is it refuses to allow me 2 activate the device Administrator. Plz Advise!
Charged my account I never gave permission to charge card for this. I was only charged 1.49 but without my knowledge. How do I make sure I won't keep getting charged for this service
Bad Customer Support Bitdefender Central can't remote locate or lock any of my devices. The scream feature doesn't work either. This is an ongoing issue. Tech support is slow. I opened a ticket 6 weeks ago and it's been over 2 weeks since I was last contacted. Support also only uses canned responses that are slightly tweaked but not accurate to the situation. Everything is from the perspective that you are using the Windows apps. They dont seem to support the Android apps!
Great app. Mediocre but reliable app lock. Great app. No noticeable impact on battery. But app lock is not full featured. You cannot set timeouts or safe times or places. You also cannot use a pattern lock or password. With these features the app would be worth 5 stars. That said the app lock does work reliably.
Awesome TRIAL Anti-Virus App. BUT SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF & HELLISH ORDEAL! I bought two subscriptions: one each for my Note 4 & Note Tablet. Paid $30. ENDED UP WITH 1 SUBSCRIPTION FOR 2 YEARS! NO WAY TO CONVERT TRIAL TO PAID SUBSCRIPTION! LICENSE WILL NOT ACTIVATE. BitDefender Tech Support IS STUPID & DIFFICULT. Their 'tech' solution is to offer refund that never comes. VERY HARD TO UNINSTALL BitDefender App. BitDefender Is a Super major hassle and convoluted pain-in-the-butt! FILING PAYPAL DISPUTE!
I'm a computer technician who, for the last 6 months or so, has been promoting Bitdefender. I've been impressed by white papers, published test results and mentions the product was given at DEFCON. Unfortunately, today is where my positive perspective ended and reality began when I had to, for the first time... Contact Support. I was appalled by the utter lack of help I received when I tried to contact support. In the end, it took me 12 hours to completely give up after 5 failed chats, 2 or 3 un-responded to emails, 10 minute phone wait times and being lied to with ridiculous excuses why the product wouldn't work; I ended up canceling my subscription. If someone like myself who has a level of technical knowledge of these types of products and devices, can not resolve and issue with support; how could I recommend this product to a customer with less technical understanding than I have? People who aren't the most technologically savvy have a greater chance of needing support for their product and this product offers little to no support. Now that I look at the 1 and 2 star reviews it seems that this is an ongoing and systemic issue in regards to poor product and device support.
