About this app

The BitShield wallet is an application that allows you to easily manage your blockchain finances in a secure way. We have carefully designed this app for new users, without hiding important information or removing powerful features.

Here are some of the top advantages of the BitShield wallet:

- Wallet ID. The wallet ID allows you to verify wallet balance, without revealing any personal information or public address. Commonly used as proof of funds and validating existing assets. It can be used in contracts which allow individuals to determine possession of the assets on simplest way.

- Non-Custodial. You own your wallet private keys. Unlike other custodial services, you are in control of your wallet and the funds within. BitShield has no access to your wallet. (BitShield doesn't provide online wallet accounts).

- Dynamic fees. Dynamic miner fee estimation ensures your transaction goes right in to first block.

- No addresses are reused to help manage metadata leakage.

- Standard import/export functionality. Compatible with any other BIP44 wallet (native address).

- Block Explorer support for all popular services.

- Advanced security features implemented, to keep your identity masked, and your funds secured. App PIN is additional security to your device and funds. When you create a PIN, random 256 bit AES password is created and used to encrypt your mnemonics.

- All transaction settle on-chain so they are more reliable and resistant to fraud than off-chain transactions.

- Hierarchical deterministic address architecture for increased transaction privacy.

- Request payments in cryptocurrencies with ease — anytime, anywhere. (includes QR Code support).

- Simple, easy to understand user interface makes crypto a fun and frictionless experience.

my coin is trapped as well. about $150. I have tried two new flagship (at time of writing) galaxy ultra s22+ and note 20 ultra phones as well as an older android OS. I thought the base os might be the issue because this was working about 15 months ago on old base android os phone. But now its not. I have emailed support. Ill be lucky to get a reply.

This Bitshield Wallet appears to be intentionally trapping people's money inside the wallet. It will allow you to receive bitcoins without any problem. But when it's time to send bitcoin away from the wallet, it just crashes. I've cleaned my phone, did a hard reset, removed the batterie, and even uninstalled and re-install the app to no avail. It's clear they did some unwelcoming change to the backend responsible for the transactions. This matter needs to be urgently looked into.

Like a few users who set 1-star review for the app I discovered one day that I can't send money from my wallet. You click send and you get Transaction Successful. But your balance isn't changed, there is no new transactions in activity list, and no money on another wallet. There is a way yet to get your coins back. Go to Settings page, find your 12 words mnemonic phrase. Install another wallet app (example coinbase). Find menu to recover wallet, enter your 12 words. And you get your coins
