About Knowledge Apps (kApps)
Knowledge Apps are the modern way to learn a skill, be provided with information, and stream video content in an easy to use format. Knowledge Apps utilize high definition video and instructor-led teaching methods to provide you with a world class learning experience. Each kApp contains advanced functionality that allows you to easily navigate and search for information contained within each kApp or all of your kApps as a whole. This gives you the ability to access the exact information you need, when you need it.
kApp Key Features:
-Streaming High-Definition Video
-Easy to Use Controls and Navigation
-Indexed Course Material
-Advanced Search Features
-Available Anywhere with an Internet Connection
About Retrieve - Provider of kApps
Retrieve is the leading provider of high-impact low-cost training, informational, and communication apps. There are many reasons that set us apart from the competition. The main one being that we offer the same level of content as other providers, we just offer it for much less and with better features. You can compare features, content, and price but when it comes down to it, Retrieve has the combination that cannot be beat.
5th,10th,later century scientists details and their images, country information. If you want to know only scientist names and invention, click names invention button, search names and find your query or if you want to know scientist photos, click photos button. And also it displayed scientist life period(born, died) information. If you want to send this useful information to your friends click SendToFriend button inside your dialog.
The App Inventor Companion lets you see how your App works as you build it.
More information is at http://appinventor.mit.edu
Note that this application has a lot of permissions because it has to be able to do any operation that you can write apps to do.
Inventions App shows a random Invention a day along with Inventor name , year and a fascinating fact about the invention. You can view all 400+ inventions and read the details.App lets you search for particular inventor, invention or even year. Set daily notification and read "Invention of the day" at your convenient time.
Note: If you are using MIT App Inventor version 1 (found at beta.appinventor.mit.edu) you should use the MIT AI Companion instead of this program. Both can be present on your phone at the same time.
The calculations are of a high enough accuracy for almost all amateur astronomy applications.
Due to the fact that astronomy is often best when far from civilization where mobile signal may not always be reliable. Therefore, this app is (almost) completely self-contained and does not require any internet connection for most of the information available. The only exceptions to this are the SOHO solar images and NGC/IC, Messier, Caldwell and Binary star images and weather forecast which are loaded dynamically, as well as the refreshing of satellite, comet and near-earth asteroid data.
Night mode turns the display red for night observations without having to ruin your night vision.
The Sky Map makes use of the direction sensors of the device to show the sky above (or below you). Most of the features can be toggled in the settings. The Sky Map also allows you to turn on the device's camera to see the view behind the device with the sky map superimposed over it.
The direction sensors of the device may need to be calibrated if the map appears to be pointing in the wrong direction. To calibrate the device's sensors wave the device in a figure-8 pattern. If the direction is still off, then the direction calibration can be adjusted manually by changing the setting in the Settings screen.
The observation log, allows you to save observations in the applications, as well as manage a list of astronomical equipment and observing locations. This equipment is also available for use in the Telescope Calculator.
Most of the data screens have an option to share the data via email, or other similar apps able to accept HTML content.
The Astronomical Time is also available as a Home screen widget. To use the widget, the app needs to be installed onto the internal storage instead of the SD card, otherwise it will not be available.
The Russian translation of the application is courtesy of Lirvux.
Some permissions are required for correct functioning of the app:
Location - used to determine user location throughout the app
Camera/Microphone - used to allow camera background in skymap. The microphone is never used but this permission is bundled with camera.
Photos/Media/Files - used to allow proper functioning of the full screen images and caching of images
Network access - used to do online searches, and downloading comet, asteroid and satellite data, object images and geocoding.
The app is jam-packed with features:
- Observe the sky with the skymap, planisphere, aurora forecast, polar finder, weather forecast, daylight map, SOHO images, Jupiter and Saturn's moons, Moon and Sun calendars and what's up.
- Detailed object information on the planets, constellations, comets, exoplanets, meteor showers, near-earth asteroids, satellites, as well as the full NGCIC, Caldwell, Messier, 6th catalog of Visual Binary Stars by the USNO and General Catalog of Variable Stars catalogs, as well as a SIMBAD search.
- Calculate angular separation, atmospheric refraction, magnitude, coordinate conversions, visual limiting magnitude, precession, redshift, and telescope airy disc, f-ratio and magnification
- Astronomical references, glossary, HR diagram and stellar classification.
- Astrophotography tools for exposure time, CCD resolution, Untracked exposure time and optimal f-ratio.
- Emphemerides for eclipses, equinoxes, conjunctions and oppositions, the sun, moon and planets
- Observation log
- Astronomical time
It seems as though the present exploits are being either hidden from us or not advertised or displayed in the media. We must let our youth, adults and elders know of the present exploits in order to encourage many more achievements.
It is mainly used for competitive Examinations and also moderate knowledge on Inventions and Discoveries.Used for children knowing about great Mechanical Inventions and Its inventors.
KIDS INVENTOR with TRIZ (Invention Sherpa for Creative Kids)
* Name of APP series :
The smart TRIZ tool for developing the creativity
* Description :
This inventor app is developed to help kids and people use the famous invention method, TRIZ.
You can easily try to invent a new creative product that improves everyday goods.
Without realizing, this app gives you training of the creative thinking mechanism of TRIZ, which is called ARIZ.
If you are familiar with this app, you can be also a TRIZ expert.
* Principle :
The principle of this app can be found in the menu, "Kids Inventor Guidebook".
It presents the illustrations and examples that explain the essentials of the TRIZ invention process.
I strongly suggest you to just get it, even if you are not to use this app.
(P.S. My poor English cannot block your inspiration.)

There are 3 levels of match-game play: easy, medium, and hard, and the names of the top 3 scorers are recorded.
The Myles & Ayesha Black Inventors Match Game also provides players with detailed information about each invention (inventor, patent #, date of patent) with an option to read more to aid in learning more about each invention.
Published by Uplift, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, the Myles & Ayesha Black Inventors Match Game is the first app in the Android Market that specifically targets kids (of all ages) in teaching a portion of Black History. It celebrates Black inventors and problem-solvers and is the first app in the Myles & Ayesha game-based and learning series.
