Everything about greatest genius, scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla:
(it's necessary online presence in order to see the full content ...)

-Facebook page about Tesla
-Nikola Tesla Memorial Society of New York
The main purpose of this application is to learn you and give you basic information about life and time of greatest inventor and scientist of all time Nikola Tesla throughout biographical and scientific data. Nikola Tesla is genius who lit the world and through the work in Colorado Springs and Long Island with Experiments with Alternate Currents of High Potential and voltage, he give to world light and modern technology. His basic field of researching was electricity but through this field he left traces in many others, he was multidisciplinary scientist.
In his own laboratory in New York, he became interested in higher frequencies, constructing special dynamos, and developing the high frequency oscillator which bears his name, the "Tesla Coil". The currents produced by this device could be used to transmit energy using only one wire, or without wires at all. He first discovered the electron, particle accelerator that scientists use today, he invented the transistor, logic gates (1898), components underlying today's computers... etc
Nikola Tesla was an inventor and engineer, always practical, and not a mathematical theoretician. Some of his ideas have not been generally accepted by academics, and so he has not been given the recognition he truly deserves.
“Let the future tell the truth, and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I have really worked, is mine.”
The App Inventor Companion lets you see how your App works as you build it.
More information is at http://appinventor.mit.edu
Note that this application has a lot of permissions because it has to be able to do any operation that you can write apps to do.
The stories in this app contain a controlled vocabulary set, using the words most frequently encountered in print. The stories and activities reinforce high-frequency words, also called “sight words,” in sentences rather than in isolation. This ensures the young reader will make a meaningful association with each word and more readily commit it to memory. The stories can be read aloud to model the qualities of fluent reading: intonation, expression, inflection and rate. Users can enable or disable the AutoRead feature. Ear buttons are supplied for fluency when AutoRead is off.
The app includes:
Plays, Fiction/NonFiction, Comics, Folk Tales, Greek Myths, and Chinese Fables sections from the Starfall website.
Controlled vocabulary, using words most frequently encountered in print.
An AutoRead feature to model fluent reading, which can be disabled once your child is able to read independently.
So what's in the set of tutorials? Well there are 5 app builds, the first 2 are simple little ones to get your students familiar with the interface and show them how to make a "soundboard" and a variation of the magic 8 ball. The other 3 app builds have far more detail. The first is a painting type app (14 videos), where the students will take a picture and be able to annotate it using lines and circles that follow finger swipes. Of course there are also colours and a reset button. The second sees the introduction of a frog squashing game (12 videos) where frogs appear on the screen and you have to tap as many as possible in a fixed time period. This introduces the concept of variables for time and scores. Our final app build is for a simple mini golf game (16 videos), with random hole positioning and an object to avoid on the screen. In all 3 apps extension tasks are identified to enable your more able students to progress further if they wish. All in all these videos will keep most students busy and engaged for several hours, which of course saves you the time of having to plan if you are a teacher.
If you want a demo of what is on the app head along to http://computing.training/index.php/shop where you will be able to see a couple of examples.

It seems as though the present exploits are being either hidden from us or not advertised or displayed in the media. We must let our youth, adults and elders know of the present exploits in order to encourage many more achievements.
