The app covers the material of a Hindi 101- Introductory Hindi Learning course taught in a typical School or a College level course for non-native learners. It is designed for someone who has no basic knowledge of Hindi.

Hindi is one of the main languages spoken in India. Nearly 425 million people speak Hindi as a first language and around 120 million as a second language. You will in short period will join that growing pool of Hindi speakers.

Learning to speak Hindi fluently will take more than just learning all the grammatical rules and vocabulary. You must practice what you have learned until you can speak Hindi without thinking about the rules.
All recordings in this program have been done by native Hindi speakers. These are standard pronunciations for people around New Delhi and also in the main Hindi speaking heartland of India.
We have attempted our best to include most useful Hindi words and sample conversations in this program. We suggest you hear each word and conversation included carefully. Then try to repeat them in your own voice.
About This Program
This program has been developed under the expert guidance of Sushma Rathor, Ph.D, Director of Hindi Institute, a non-profit Hindi school. Dr. Sushma Rathor has taught Hindi to native and non-native speakers for over 2 decades. She taught Hindi at Rutgers University, NJ and developed syllabus for the university level Hindi courses there.
