Very disappointed with this game after waiting so long. Gold is pointless, yet you can select double gold as a buff at the beginning and mid point of a stage? No boss battles or continuation of the story, which is a major downgrade. No artifacts or leveling up skills either, also a major downgrade. The difficulty is unbalanced and aggravating instead of fun. It's not just pixel perfect jumps and immaculate timing, it's plain unfair design. Give this a miss.

the levels are frustrating, and why collect gold if you have nothing to spend it on. as long as we've been waiting on development for ninja arashi 3, and this is what they come up with. some levels take forever to get past and its just rage inducing. and not even the later acts, but at the beginning. and the fact you have to keep selecting perks is aggravating, along with having to remember which perks you've already selected bc they'll come up again.

it is easily the most difficult of the three. but, though it's fun, it's also unfortunately the least interesting one. in this versions, the only reason to earn coins is to gain extra two lives after you lose. and the "choose one of three powers" system is not that great and can be frustrating. also this game doesn't add anything to the plot. with that said. it was fun to play. but its definitely not a 5/5 unlike the other two.
