Doesn't work No sound on playback and doesn't support Chromecast. All other streaming services on my phone support casting which allow me to use my phone as a controller for digital services and still be able to use the phone at the same time.
Very Poor service. I tried the service to see if a streaming service was a good alternative to disks. It isn't. The support for media devices is abysmal. PS4, Wii, Playbook, Linux based devices - unsupported. PS3 - works, but not HD (and the sound is very poor). So I decided to try the Android app. I loaded it on 3 devices, 2 wouldn't play movies at all (a Q5 and an android x86 laptop). The tablet would play locally, but did not offer chromecast. (Despite youtube, iplayer, TED all casting fine). YMMV, so I suggest anyone thinking of trying this, uses an Ultraviolet library, with codes from disks, to thoroughly test if it is satisfactory before purchasing anything. Personally from my experience, I could only advocate using it as a UV library player. (To save the bother of ripping disks for mobile use) I certainly would not suggest purchasing anything from them that isn't both much cheaper than the DVD & gets added to your UV library. (With how well it works for me I couldn't see me wanting to pay more than a couple of quid for a blockbuster, less for an old movie)
They'll rip you off! Hired a movie which wouldn't play the video. Tried all my Android devices and wouldn't work on any of them HTC ONE M8, Lenovo Yoga tab 3, Android TV box all using current up-to date software. Customer support said nothing wrong with it... No refund, ripped off!! Beware this company at all costs!!
Great Movie and TV app, Huge selection, massive rental library, works with Chromecast.
Very good Will phone app be getting a download to SD card feature? If it does I'll be giving it 5 stars! UPDATE: Now I can download to SD card it is flawless! 5 stars!
Must have for film lovers everywhere. Xx
