The one that works I spent a Sunday downloading, trying and rejecting streaming radio apps. Each had a fatal flaw - one wouldn't play this stream, one couldn't play that one - until I tried BGMRadio. Works on everything I've thrown at it. Cons: It's really ugly; needs a serious graphical do-over. Impossible to use in direct sun. However: It is the only one that works!
FTP streaming One of the few Android music players that do FTP streaming!!!! Kudos!!! Doesn't have too many features though: I'd love to see playlist shuffle, pause playback (imagine that: you cannot pause playback, you can only stop it(!)), as well as other niceties such as widget(s), lockscreen access etc.
Works on my G note II Able to enter a url and listen to an ogg stream. A first for me. Thanks to the developer!
Nice app.. but.. shows some errors Nice idea. But lots of stations show 'BASS ERROR' with error code 5. I am using samsung galaxy S duos. Hope to see it fixed soon
Thank you Alexander! Both this app and Skywa are excellent apps. No ads, no in app purchases, no "premium version", just a straight up NO-BS streaming music player. Nice to see Dev's still exist who are driven by passion and not $$$. BGMRadio for the hacker look, Skywa for a clean iOS like interface. BOTH are worthy! ...but you only need one.
Excellent, wasn't expecting to find a player with proxy settings. Just what I need. But annoying it closes when runs in the background
