I use Blubird not just as a debit card, but also as a virtual bank, because you get an account number and a routing number, just like a traditional bank account. There's nothing else quite like it that's so readily available and accepted. The only downside is that their app is down a lot for maintenance, but that does not affect card usage, and you can always log onto their website to check your balance, cash checks, etc. Really a great product!

I have had more problems with this card. Do yourself a favor and check out similarI cards first. got this card as an added layer of security for online shopping. This works well when it works but when it doesnt it creates problems. First customer service is difficult because you can barely hear let alone understand them. Menu tries to direct you to what they want ie auto deposit etc rather than what you need. I end up paying unexpected fees. Otherwise it does what I want lol.

What is going on with the Bluebird app. I've been trying to add funds from my debit card for two weeks and keep getting a "we're having technical difficulties" message. I've been adding funds from the same debit card for months with no issues. Now, suddenly I can't. And no, my debit card isn't expired and yes, I have funds available. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled. I've sent two emails already with no response. I'll update my rating when someone responds and resolves this issue.
