(9/16/17) Truly amazing. This is like no other game on the Play Store. It's meant for PC, but the dev really made an amazing port for mobile devices!!! And now there's a new amazing update!!! Shows how much dedication is put into this game by an amazing dev!!! I love the choice system, the huge amount of dialogue, the replay-ability, the permanent death, everything in this gem is just outstanding for a realistic survival game! The full version is worth every dollar ($10). Just trust me on this because you'll be spending so much time being immersed by this game. A MUST FOR A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. FAN!!!
One more turn slowly becomes one more day survived. Then it becomes the difference between drinking water found and boiling water first before drinking water found. Every time you die there's something else you probably could have done but you don't know until after that death. You dying you survive you die again you keep learning you keep playing around with different builds of skills. Personally I feel you can't go wrong with at least having lockpick and botany as main skills. Anything else do what you like. There's probably no 'wrong' strategy, just find what works for you.
A great game on PC, but very bad adaption on tablet. The controls are terrible and the lack of shortcuts (even with a connected keyboard) is atrocious. And I keep accidently zooming in instead of doing my intended action. Hope to see a UI revamp!
This game is brutally honest about punishing bad decisions. Cut throat. Gritty. Graphic. The no hand holding gameplay is described via text perfectly. It is worth the $10 for sure, infact I purchased this on steam and gladly paid again to have it on my phone.
I have loved this game for years and I am so thrilled to see it out on mobile and doing so well. It is such a unique game and Dan has done such a fantastic job with all of it. I love how tense and exciting moments can be and before you know it you lose everything but I've come to learn that starting over is part of the fun as well. For those that dont have the full version , the soundtrack is absolutely amazing, it is so fitting and creates such an amazing atmosphere to go with the game. The soundtrack itself is worth the full version! Neo scavenger will always have a special place in my heart.
I love this game, and I've only played a few games most of which ended with acute bleeding of the lungs. However I had one run where I came across my first human enemy, Bad Mutha, who after some back and forth left when I offered a ceasefire, after nightfall I came across him again looting some painkillers. I got the upperhand and he ran away, I chased after him and he turned around and kicked me into next week. I started a new character and found him again. What ensued was the greatest come back story I have ever witnessed. Edit: Unfortunately after I tabbed out of the game to write this review I came back to find all my progress was lost and unrecoverable. Oof. Reply: I think the problem is I only have the trial version, I don't think the trial version has saves at all. Which is fine I'll get the full version eventually.
Fixed frequent save-game crash that affected some Android device+OS version combinations.
Fixed a bug that allowed tap to simultaneously pick up item and trigger UI button (such as crafting tab).
