About this game

Become Skullface, a psycho slasher bent on scaring and slaughtering campers in this darkly comic puzzle game homage to 80’s horror movies.

A diabolical puzzle game that also happens to be a bloody tribute to the VHS era of videotape horror! No one is safe… no law enforcement enforces the law enough… and no animals or children are harmed… in the summer horror hit of 1984.

Key Features:

• 11 gut-wrenching “videotapes” for over 140 puzzle levels + more to come!

• Traps! Cops! SWAT teams! Land mines! Rotary telephones! Cats! Don’t kill the cats!

• Unlock multiple psycho killers, including ones based on cult horror movie classics!

• Discover dozens of spectacular “Gorepack” kill scenes featuring wood-chippers, lawn mowers, Sumerian demon incantations, and more!

• Genuine synth-laden hair metal soundtrack by legendary Canadian band GNÜ TRUNTION

The puzzles get difficult enough later on that they just become tedious to solve. You can buy hints or step-by-step instructions to solve a puzzle with gold. I found myself using the latter option enough to complete levels that I realized I was forcing myself to play just to finish a chapter. The gore is fun at first though it gets repetitive. There's some decent humor/homages to 80s slasher films. Overall, fun at first, but not great replay value.

I loved this game on PC then I saw it on mobile and it's just as great. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys puzzles and has a sense of humor. One thing I would like to highlight is the rating reminder. Usually mobile games ask for a rating at the worst time with a boring pop-up, such as in the middle of action, between puzzles, or even before playing the game at all. This game did it the perfect time, blending with the game. Plus really, who could resist that face?? (You'll see) Well done

Many fun short puzzles for brief moments of free time. Increasing difficulty nice so far I've finished 3 movies, about 30-something levels. I like that I can adjust the gore and the view (top down our 3/4). Maybe others will like the cosmetics or the horror parody jokes or the badges or the silly store, etc. but that's all superfluous to me. I just dig the puzzles. Occasionally, it misinterprets my swipe and my killer careens the wrong direction, but the backup buttons save you.
